Does planning and running a (successful) holiday promotion sound daunting? It doesn’t have to! Implementing a promo that works well with your business and specific goals is easy in your Dashboard.
With the biggest spending and sale weekend just around the corner, it’s time to get your Black Friday and Cyber Monday plans in place. According to Invesp, more than 70% of US online users claim discounts have the biggest effect on purchase decisions during the holidays, so you don’t want to miss out on the potential earnings.
Below, we’ve outlined two types of simple campaigns you can set up in only 15 minutes. Let’s maximize your year-end sales with an optimized holiday promotion!
Goal: Find new business and give deciding customers a big incentive and final push to book.
With a promo code campaign, you can choose a specific discount and time frame that works for your business. For instance, you can run a flash sale with a 20% discount for a day or a longer promo with a 10% discount over a week.
With our software, there are endless ways you can tailor sales to fit your needs. For example, you can add blackout dates to control when customers can or cannot book. Let’s say you always sell out over spring break in your area — you can remove this week from the promotion.
This ensures you generate the most revenue possible during your busy times and encourages more bookings for your slower months.

Goal: Fill up your availabilities, encourage customers to book more than one experience, and advertise less popular offerings.
With Combos, it’s easier than ever to run a Buy One, Get One (BOGO) sale. With this powerful tool you can charge full price for one experience, and customers can decide to book another offering at a discounted rate of your choice.
While this type of promotion does not support blackout dates, you won’t lose revenue on the first experience booked and the second would be a sale you wouldn’t have had otherwise. This will help you fill availabilities throughout the next season.
Pro Tip: Pair your most popular tour with a less booked offering in your combo deal. This will increase visibility for those experiences that need a little help in filling availabilities.
Combos are an intuitive new tool you can set up on your own! Simply use this Help Center article to learn how to implement your combo deal.
