Creating a Facebook event is a great way to increase visibility for your festivals, annual events, and more. They are a free tool and easy to set up — so you haven’t already utilized them, this is your sign to start!
First things first though, in order to create an event, you must have a Facebook account. You can do this by clicking “Create Account” at this link. You will also want to create an event using your business’s page, rather than your personal one, of course.

Facebook events are pages you can create that provide all important details about an event you are hosting. You should include date, time, booking information, promotional photos, address, and anything else pertinent to the success of your event.

Pro Tip: If you need to create a recurring event, like a festival that falls on two weekends, you can click “Schedule Multiple Events” under “Frequency.” This will speed up the process when you need to make multiple events and you can make it daily, weekly, or a custom amount.
